Where You Live: How Well Do You Know French Design? Let's See . . . .

AMERICAN FRENCH versus the FRENCH.
CAN YOU TELL THE AUTHENTIC FROM THE INTERPRETED LOOKS?

Oui?

Non?

Let's see . . . . This is a simple but fun post.  And there is reason for the simplicity.

Love Where You Live is published using Blogger. And that platform continues to experience some problems. The translation here is that I cannot link, size, use different fonts or colors, center, spell- check,  or conduct other editing maneuvers. I can download photos, so that's all good!

Thanks for bearing with me, as the blogging platform attempts to recover.

As you view the photos below, I hope you enjoy them all for their style, design and "je ne sais quoi."

So, tell me: Which are owned/decorated by French nationals?

A clue:  There are 7. Do you spy them? The others are American interpretations.

In a few days, I will reveal which are which in my own Comment Section. Please stay tuned . . . .

Thank you for coming by, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts and reading which rooms you selected as the "authentic French."

The photos above were pulled from my own files, "Country French," "Cote Paris," and "Cote Ouest."

The Authentic French for me are: #7-9, #11-15...that's all my guess..anyway, had fun seeing your Lovely post.

There are some double pictures in the list, but my guess is 1, 2, 5, 6, 9, 10 and 18.

Hugs,
Penny

Hello!

Penny is correct; I do have two duplicated sets of photos above. I hesitate to delete them; however. When I did that the other day, with Blogger on the blink, it deleted my whole post. So, I decided to leave these for the time being. It's good to hear from you. Thanks!

Hi Susan,

What an interesting post and fantastic pictures. I would guess pictures 3 or 18 (I am torn between the two), 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, and 13. I absolutely love number 10!! Number 9 is close to my heart, there is something about it...
By the way, I hope your talented, beautiful, smart, funny, lovely daughter is able to help you with your Blogger problems. I truly enjoy reading your blogs, keep up the wonderful posts. I especially like the recipes on the Eating Cheap and Healthy page, blackberry wine ice - YUM.

interesting - this was hard.

have you ever downloaded writers live for windows? it works with blogger. you wouldn't have these problems. you should def. try it.

The authentic French are numbers 4,5,6, 10,12,15 and 18. You guys did well! Do any surprise you? I was a bit curious as to why you chose some of the photos you did .....Thanks for playing my game.

Thanks, Joni, for the Writer Live suggestion. I will check to see if it's compatible with Mac.

And, thanks to my beautiful, funny and talented techie daughter for fixing my problem. Something became dis-lodged and she found it! yeah.

Have a nice day, y'all.

Love the new look, Susan! I love French, no matter if it's authentic or interpreted. My favorite image is the black and ivory buffalo check on the walls and ceiling. I've seen that image somewhere before and still adore it. Hope you are well and have had a wonderful summer! Carol
